Since Katie "I married a space alien" Holmes split from the Batman Begins sequal, "The Dark Knight", rumors have been flying all over as to who will be replacing her. The guys over at latinoreview.com have reported that the role has been given to Maggie Gyllenhaal. That sounds like a pretty solid casting choice to me. She has been pretty decent in the movies I have seen her in (World Trade Center, Stranger Than Fiction). I WAS hoping that they would go for someone who looked a bit older though, more like Rachel McAdams. Chistian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman) looks a good deal older than Mag's. Oh well, we shall wait and see. TDK starts shooting in Chicago, England, and Scotland sometime with in the next few weeks for a July 2008 release. Check back for more info, see ya guys around!

Yeah, i can see where you're coming from on the whole "she looks younger than Bale" thing, and i would agree that they use an older actress, or a great deal of make-up...
Yeah, the no Katie Holmes is kind of disappointing. But I'm glad for Bale's return. Movies...nice man!
